This 3rd Gen. Packaging Mix & DNAfectin™ Plus Combo Pack contains two products to package your lentiviral vector into virus particles and perform transfection into a range of cells: 

• 3nd Generation Packaging System Mix offers maximal biosafety as the lentiviral Rev gene is supplied as an independent vector from other structure genes and will only support 3rd Generation lentiviral expression vectors with a chimeric 5' LTR, making it TAT-independent.
• DNAfectin™ Plus Transfection Reagent is a unique formulation of polycations and liposomes, which guarantees high transfection efficiency in a wide variety of cell types including primary cells.
