Mepyramine maleate

Mepyramine maleate (Pyrilamine maleate) is a histamine H1 antagonist. It has mild hypnotic properties and some local anesthetic action and is used for allergies (including skin eruptions) both parenterally and locally. It is a common ingredient of cold remedies.
