Additional Information
ERBB2 and ERBB3 Stable Ba/F3 Cell Line expresses full length ORF of ERBB2 (MSCV-puro vector) and full length ORF ERBB3 (MSCV-neo vector).
ERBB2 and ERBB3 belongs to the EGFR family of receptor tyrosine kinases consisting of proteins which bind to epidermal growth factors. Although they are important in development as they aid in the development of proper organs during embryogenesis and also maintain adult cardiac function, these proteins are best known for their role in oncogenesis. ERBB2 or Her2/neu is most known for its role in breast cancer. Both ERBB2 and ERBB3 are oncogenic targets valuable for study.
