IU-TAB-1 Cells are established in vitro through the isolation from tissue derived from patient with stage II thymoma, classified as type AB. These cells are able to proliferate in culture and are valuable for research in thymic malignancies. This is particularly useful in studies relating to the cellular and molecular mechanisms of cancer biology in thymomas.
