VividFISH™ probe set for CEP07/EGFR

Product Description

The VividFISH™ CEP07/EGFR probe set detects aberrant amplification of the EGFR gene on chromosome 7 (NCBI GeneID:1956). Activation of EGFR, a well-characterized proto-oncogene, is associated with many cancer types, including those of the lung and breast. The VividFISH™ CEP07/EGFR probe set, which is a combination of one probe detecting the EGFR gene and a second control probe detecting the centromere of chromosome 7, provides a valuable tool for diagnosis of cancers in a variety of tissues.
