VividFISH™ probe set for CEP17/HER2

Product Description

The VividFISH™ CEP17/HER2 probe set detects aberrant amplification of the HER2 gene on chromosome 17 (NCBI GeneID:2064). Amplification of HER2 is associated with poor survival from breast cancer. The VividFISH™ CEP17/HER2 probe set, which is a combination of one probe detecting the HER2 gene and a second control probe detecting the centromere of chromosome 17, provides a valuable tool for determining the prognosis of breast cancer and guiding subsequent treatment regimens.

Pretreatment of FFPE samples can be performed with GeneCopoeias VividFISH™ FFPE-pretreatment Kit.
