VividFISH™ probe set for ALK break apart

Product Description

The VividFISH™ ALK break apart probe set detects aberrant translocations of parts of the ALK gene on chromosome 2p23 (NCBI GeneID:238) with the echinoderm microtubule-associated protein-like 4 gene (EML4) on chromosome 2p21 (NCBI GeneID: 27436). This results in the generation of EML4-ALK fusion proteins that are associated with non-small cell lung carcinoma. The VividFISH™ ALK break apart probe set provides a valuable tool for diagnosis of non-small cell lung carcinoma in human lung tissue samples.
