Product Description
MitoBright Green Probe is a fluorescent dye that can freely pass through cell membranes and is used to label intact mitochondria in living cells. It can specifically bind to negatively charged phospholipids such as cardiolipin on the mitochondrial membrane, and can be used to qualitatively or quantitatively determine the mitochondrial mass and the toxic and damaging effects of free radicals and oxidants on the cellular mitochondria by analyzing the changes in cardiolipin on the mitochondrial membrane.
