Additional Information

The 3T3-L1 cell line is a well-characterized clone derived from mouse embryo 3T3 cells and is widely used as a model for studying adipocyte differentiation, the process by which pre-adipocytes transform into mature adipocytes or fat cells. This cell line has become an invaluable tool in obesity research, diabetes research, and the study of metabolic diseases, offering insights into the molecular and cellular mechanisms underlying fat cell development, insulin sensitivity, and lipid metabolism.
