Cell Isolation
Separate your cells quick and easy
Cell isolation—also known as cell separation or sorting—is the process of extracting specific cell types from complex mixtures or tissues. This essential technique helps researchers reduce experimental complexity, analyze targeted cell populations, and perform downstream applications with confidence.
Choose between two methods of cell isolation kits:
- Magnetic Cell Isolation
For immune cell types such as B cells, CD3+ T cells, CD4+ T cells, CD8+ T cells, and NK cells, our EasySort kits utilize a negative selection technique with biotinylated monoclonal antibodies to label non-target cells, which are then removed using streptavidin-labeled magnetic beads. This approach ensures high purity and viability, ideal for immunology and related research.
- Non-Magnetic Cell Isolation
For specialized primary cell types—such as articular chondrocytes, astrocytes, bone marrow monocytes, mononuclear cells, endothelial progenitor cells, macrophages, brain microvascular endothelial and pericyte cells, and cardiac fibroblasts—our kits employ optimized protocols based on enzymatic digestion, mechanical filtration, or density gradient centrifugation. These methods are tailored to efficiently release and purify target cells from tissue, without the use of magnetic beads.
Each kit includes all necessary reagents and detailed, easy-to-follow protocols for isolating highly pure, viable cells directly from tissue samples. Our standardized procedures deliver high cell yields and purities, ensuring reliable and reproducible results for cell biology, disease modeling, and drug discovery.
