RNA-seq
Transcriptome Sequencing for Gene Expression Analysis
RNA-seq (RNA-sequencing) is a technique that can examine the quantity and sequences of RNA in a sample using next-generation sequencing (NGS). It analyzes the transcriptome, indicating which of the genes encoded in our DNA are turned on or off and to what extent. The RNA-seq product line from BioCat consists of different sequencing library preparation kits for mRNA, small RNA and single cell RNA-seq.
Small RNA-seq
RealSeq’s industry leading small RNA NGS library technology allows broad detection with “best in class” low bias. Their wide range of sequencing services includes library preparation from extracted RNA or ready-to-sequence pooled libraries.
Single Cell RNA-seq
PIP-seq’s single cell RNA-seq workflow starts with sample preparation where cells or nuclei are mixed with template particles (hydrogel beads with barcoded templates) to generate monodisperse emulsions by vortexing. As a result, cells and particles are co-encapsulated into droplets without the need for microfluidic instrumentation or consumables.
