The technology behind the Precellys® Evolution Touch tissue homogenizer from Bertin Instruments is based on over 15 years of expertise in sample preparation. It can be used to homogenize any biological sample, whether animal, human or plant, and irrespective of whether the tissue is hard or soft. Based on the multidirectional movement of the beads in the tubes, 3D bead-beating homogenization is the most efficient and reproducible method in comparison of classical ones (mortar & pestle, sonication, blenders, high pressure homogenizers). The speed can be set to up to 10,000 rotations per minute. Precellys® Evolution allows you to use six different tube volumes (from 0.5 to 50 ml) and prepare between 1 and 96 tubes at the same time. 

It takes just a few dozen seconds to prepare your samples, even with the hardest tissue such as teeth, bones or hair. In record time, your samples are ready for analysis, whether you use PCR, Western Blot, mass spectrometry, high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC), or next generation sequencing (NGS). Precellys® Evolution Touch saves you precious time in your routine and R&D projects requiring tissue homogenization or cell disruption. This preliminary processing is crucial for proteins, drugs, metabolites, RNA or DNA extraction.

Features

• The 8-figure 3D-motion (multi-directional) movement of the tubes. The same high level of energy given to the beads inside each tube ensures equal homogenization efficiency for all processed samples (up to 24 at once). Thanks to this complex movement, the Precellys Evolution Touch can disrupt any type of sample (even the hardest) in seconds with perfect reproducibility while limiting heat generation.
• The patented vacuum-based tube locking system during the process makes it compliant with safety requirements of the harshest lab environments, such as BSL3
