The reagent formulation, DNA/reagent ratio, protocols, and other parameters have all been optimized so that the transfection is simple and straightforward. Additionally, compared to other wide-spectrum transfection reagents, the PerFectin™ Transfection Reagent is very economical.
How does it work?
Transfection and GFP expression using PerFectin™ Transfection Reagent.
gWiz/GFPplasmid was transfected into four different cell lines using PerFectin reagent. Cells were imaged 24 hours post transfection.
The reagent is delivered as a dried lipid film along with DNA Diluent, and is available in different formats.
For maximum stability, store all reagents at 4ºC upon receipt. If stored properly, dried PerFectin™ Transfection Reagent is stable for 12 months, and hydrated PerFectin™ Transfection Reagent is stable for 6 months. DNA Diluent is stable for 12 months at 4ºC.
