Tagged ORF Clones
Open reading frame (ORF) clones expressed with fusion peptide tags are a powerful tool for uncovering protein function. The well characterized Myc-tag and DYKDDDDK-tag (FLAG® epitope) serve as common epitopes to aid in standardizing purification, detection and analysis across multiple proteins. (Peptide sequence of the DDK tag is DYKDDDDK. FLAG® is a registered trademark of Sigma-Aldrich).Proven tagged expression vectors
MGC premier Tagged ORFs are available in validated tagged expression vectors with Myc-tag or DYKDDDDK -tag (FLAG epitope) as C-terminal or N-terminal fusions. Both tags are small, minimizing interference with protein function and can be used in a variety of applications for protein analysis.
• Well characterized fusion tags reduces optimization time
• Largest collection of expression-ready ORF content
• Guaranteed in-frame expression from fully sequenced ORF

Ready-to-express tagged ORFs
MGC premier Tagged ORF expression vectors allow you to express a protein of interest with either Myc or FLAG® fusion tags. These reagents provide tools for western blot, purification, co-imunopreciptation, protein localization and FACS analysis with validated antibodies also available.
pCMV-DDK-N and pCMV-DDK-C
The pCMV-DDK mammalian expression vectors allow you to express your protein of interest fused to DYKDDDDK, which is also known as the FLAG epitope tag. Both C- and N-terminal formats of the vector are available. The DYKDDDDK or FLAG epitope is well characterized, highly immunoreactive, and thus is ideal for co-immunoprecipitation studies. It can also be easily detected via Western blot using the anti-DYKDDDDK Antibody (which recognizes the same epitope as the FLAG-tag antibody).

Vector cartoon shows the basic elements of the pCMV-DDK expression vector. pCMV-DDK-C shown. The N-terminal fusion format is also available. For a more detailed view see the vector map on the documents page.
pCMV-Myc-N and pCMV-Myc-C
The pCMV-Myc mammalian expression vectors allow you to express a protein of interest fused to the c-Myc epitope tag. c-Myc is well-characterized and highly immunoreactive tags, and thus ideal for immunoprecipitation studies but is also easily detected via Western blot.

Vector cartoon shows the basic elements of the pCMV-Myc expression vector. pCMV-Myc-C shown. The N-terminal fusion format is also available. For a more detailed view see the vector map on the documents page.
