RNA Damage Assays

DNA is arguably the most biologically significant target of cellular and oxidative stress. Continuous oxidative DNA damage has been implicated in age-related development of a variety of cancers including colon, breast and prostate.
Recently oxidative RNA damage has been described in conjunction with a wide variety of neurological diseases including Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, and Dementia with Lewy Bodies.
There are a number of types of RNA damage. Quick and reliable assays are offered to detect the most common forms, see table below.
