Epigentek´s CytoX-Violet Cell Proliferation kit is based on measuring the activity of cellular dehydrogenases. A special dye composition is used to measure viability of both adherent and suspension cells. The fluorometric change of the CytoX-Violet indicator solution is directly proportional to cell proliferation. The protocol is performed in a microtiter plate, has only one step and is extremely simple, accurate and reproducible.
