The effects of Mycoplasma are decreased quantity of product produced, decreased quality of the product, and lack of consistency and reproducibility.

The BioMycoX PCR Mycoplasma Detection Kit comes with primer mix, complete 2 x PCR reagents mix incl. loading dye, & DNAse free water, and detects 50 species of Mycoplasma. The primer pairs are specific to the highly conserved 16S rRNA coding region in the Mycoplasma genome. A positive Mycoplasma control DNA and an internal PCR control are included in the kit.
