Norgen’s Quantitative DNA Ladders have been genetically engineered so that the bands are of precise and discrete sizes. Well-spaced bands and higher-intensity reference bands facilitate visual analysis of the gel. These ladders are ideal for quantification due to the precise known ng amounts of each band.

Marligen’s DNA Mass Ladders are designed for accurate estimation of the size and quantity of double-stranded DNA fragments following electrophoresis.
Each band contains an exact amount of DNA, allowing determination of both molecular weight and quantity. The DNA Mass Ladders are conveniently supplied in loading buffer for direct application to either TAE or TBE agarose gels.

The Broad Range DNA Mass Ladder contains the following 14 fragments: 200, 400, 600, 800, 1000, 1500, 2000, 2500, 3000, 4000, 5000, 6000, 8000 and 12000 bp.
The PCR DNA Mass Ladder contains the following eight fragments: 100, 300, 500, 700, 1000, 1500, 2000 and 3000 bp.

Storage Conditions
Stable for at least one year at -20°C or 6 months at 4°C. Aliquot product if necessary to avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles. Composition of Storage Buffer 10 mM Tris-HCL (pH 8.0), 1 mM EDTA, 8% sucrose, 0.05% bromophenol blue.
