TRISOPOR®-Protein A consists of recombinant protein A covalently linked to porous glass-beads. Our partner VitraBio has employed nanotechnology to create bead pores with a high binding surface (see image above) leading to the extremely high binding capacity of 45 mg IgG/ml resin.
TRISOPOR-Protein A can be used for the purification of monoclonal as well as polyclonal antibodies from serum, ascites or cell-culture. It is applicable in columns or batch-procedures for capture of human and animal antibodies of IgG-type.
The high binding static capacity of 45 mg IgG/mL resin allows an easy handling in a simple three-step-mode: load – wash - elute. TRISOPOR® is an inert glass-matrix devoid of shrinking and/or swelling with a high pressure-stability in columns, which means that clogging of columns is no longer an issue for you with this superior resin.
TRISOPOR®-Protein A is offered in a phosphate buffer pH 7.0 with 1 % benzylalcohol as bacteriostatic agent.
