Because the NeuroPORTER® Transfection Reagent is formulated for DNA delivery into neuronal cells, the transfection efficiency is higher than other commercially available broad-spectrum transfection reagents. Also, compared to viral methods, transfection with the NeuroPORTER Reagent is simple and can be completed in as little as 24 hours, saving days of labor.
The reagent is delivered as a dried lipid film along with DNA Diluent, and is available in different formats.
The NeuroPORTER® Transfection Reagent is shipped at room temperature. For maximum stability, store all reagents at 4ºC upon receipt. The dried NeuroPORTER® reagent is stable for 12 months and the hydrated NeuroPORTER™ reagent is stable for 6 months. The Hydration Buffer and DNA Diluent are stable for 12 months.
