Product CartReactive Oxygen Species (ROS) and Antioxidant Assays
Excess ROS must be promptly eliminated from the cell by a variety of antioxidant defense mechanisms. Cellular antioxidant enzymes and other redox molecules serve to counterbalance ROS generated in the cell.
Assays to measure the activity of specific antioxidant enzymes (catalase, superoxide dismutase) are offered. Additionally, you may measure the antioxidant capacity of certain biomolecules (ORAC, HORAC, & TAC).
