With high-quality cDNA clones from the I.M.A.G.E. consortium the most complete gene library is provided. It consists of several arrayed cDNA clone collections. Most prominently among these is the Mammalian Gene Collection (MGC) of full-length cDNAs for human, mouse, rat and cow.
The cDNA clones are offered as complete collections, individual plates or individual clones from all model organisms including human, mouse, rat, monkey, cow, zebrafish, Fugu and Xenopus.
An extensive collection of full-ORF clones for human and mouse proteins, so-called ORFeome Collaboration Clones, has been generated by transferring existing MGC full-ORF human or mouse cDNA clones into Gateway entry vectors. The clones are full-length validated and offered with or without stop codon to enable the generation of fusion proteins. The Gateway entry vector format allows for the easy transfer of the ORF sequences into virtually any type of expression vector.
